Director of Equities, Bell Potter
Cyril is on the board of the Brisbane Lions and Bondi Born. He is Director – equities at emerging industrial specialist stockbroking firm, Bell Potter.
As Director of Equities at Bell Potter since 2001 where he has raised approx. $1.5b over 20 years, Cyril has directly floated many companies such as Appen (ASX: APX), Greencross (ASX: GXL), Peppercorn Childcare (acquired), Energy Action (ASX: EAX), Ausenco (de-listed), Shine Lawyers (ASX: SHJ), National Storage (ASX: NSR) and recently Glen Richards backed Healthia (HLA).
He also raised capital for listed and unlisted companies including John Walker’s $50-million new litigation funding vehicle, ICP Capital Partners, and S8 Limited’s $100-million convertible note. Another significant experience was the on market takeover of travel agency, Harvey World Travel.
Chairman and Non-executive Director of Altium Limited (ASX: ALU)
Since 2007, Sam has been Altium’s Chairman of the Board and a non-executive director. He has been instrumental in the company’s ability to generate shareholder value through superior technology and strategy, capital and financial controls, and strong corporate governance. His experience in global markets has helped Altium on its journey to market leadership in electronics design for Printed Circuit Boards.
Sam brings more than 20 years of valuable Boardroom experience in remuneration policy and planning, people management and leadership development and global brand building as well as in depth knowledge of public and capital markets and the regulatory environment. He is also Chairman of 3PLearning Limited (ASX: 3PL) and former Chairman of Open Universities Australia Pty Ltd, The Benevolent Society and The Sydney Festival. He has been a Non-executive Director of Breville Group Limited (ASX: BRG), iProperty Group Limited and Oroton Group Limited (ASX: ORL).
Founder and Managing Director XV Group
Sandy is the former CEO of CVC Limited (ASX: CVC), where he oversaw annual shareholder returns in excess of 15% per annum for over 15 years. Harnessing 28+ years at CVC, he has extensive experience with investee businesses, both in providing advice, assisting in acquisitions and divestments, capital raisings and in direct management roles, especially bringing management expertise to small cap companies in driving shareholder returns.
For the past 25 years, Sandy has been a director of numerous public and private companies including Centrepoint Alliance, Probiotec Ltd (ASX: PBP), TasFoods Ltd (ASX: TFL), and Pure Foods Tasmania (ASX: PFT).

Paul co-founded Petbarn and was the CEO for over 8 years, leading its growth from a $2m EBITDA to $45m, and a joint venture with EBOS Ltd to acquire Animates NZ in 2007, where he was Chairman of the Board for 6 years. In 2013, Paul joined Greencross Ltd (ASX: GXL) and transitioned from being the CEO of Petbarn and Animates NZ to a non-executive director of Greencross, following the reverse takeover of Greencross by Petbarn (Mammoth Pet Pty Ltd).
Prior to entering the petcare industry, Paul was the COO of ShopFast, Australia’s largest online grocery retailer which was sold to Coles in 2003. He also had various sales and senior management roles over a 12-year career in the oil industry, working for Caltex JV/Boral and Vitalgas.
At present, Paul is with Willeese Pty Ltd as an advisor and investor. He is an advisor to the chair and CEO of Deepgreen Metals Inc, which recently merged with Sustainable Opportunities Acquisition Corp (NYSE: SOAC). He also invests and provides advisory services to Cardionexus.
Paul holds several other investments in both listed and PE investments across retail, health, technology and property. He is a founding shareholder of The Natural Grocery Company, which is the parent company of Australia’s leading wholefoods chain, Flannerys.
